While September overall seems like a quieter month, we still have several planets in retrograde, and Jupiter joins them, entering its retrograde today, September 4th. Jupiter will station direct in Taurus again on December 30th. For a planet that spends roughly one year in a sign, a four-month retrograde is significant!
Jupiter is stationing retrograde today at the exact degree (the the minute) of my natal Venus, so it will highlight the Venusian themes that are continuing to decrease for me. Since Venus is the ruler of Taurus, this is true for all of us to an extent, and we may deepen into some of the lessons learned in Venus’ recent retrograde around a ore authentic self expression. In general, Jupiter retrograde in Taurus is associated with reduction in Taurus themes, which could mean severe economic challenges. It can also mean becoming more practical about our consumption. I talk more in this week’s podcast about the potential of these themes taking on a more collective theme, as we assess whether or not our beliefs (Jupiter) resonate with that of the collective. Where might we need to release certain beliefs that are no longer resonant?
