“The Full Hunter Blood Moon will be Saturday and it'll be a partial lunar eclipse, turning part of the moon brownish-red….With the leaves falling and the deer fattened, this is the time to hunt. Since the fields have been reaped, hunters can ride over the stubble, and can more easily see the fox and other animals. “

This eclipse season, we have had our focus drawn to Venus, who rules over values, relationships and finances and is the ruler of both the Libra New Moon that happend earlier this month, and the Taurus Full Moon happening this weekend. In Libra, Venus’ focus was on relationships, in Taurus, Venus’ focus is more on finances and values, as this full moon accentuates the financial axis of Taurus (where the moon will be) and Scorpio (where the sun will be). Certainly we’ll see finances and resources lit up in the collective, and indeed this has already been an important topic for several years now.
The Taurus eclipse will be the last eclipse happening on the Taurus/Scorpio axis, bringing to light the concepts that we’ve been working with since November 2021. Look to this time to examine how the Taurus/Scorpio themes of power, control, relationships, finances and values have been playing out for you, and what lessons you have learned.
Scorpio season is time when our senses are sharp and we’re able to perceive what lies beneath the surface. You may find that you are able to perceive energetically (or etherically) what is going on, even when words or actions tell a different story. Strong Scorpio energy teaches us to trust our senses. What messages have you received? What have you understood energetically? More importantly, what will you do with the information you are receiving from your senses?
During the course of the last two years, you may have had lessons that have taught you to trust your senses. Perhaps you have found that what you energetically perceive is more trustworthy than you previous realized?
Pluto, ruler of Scorpio, and planet of power and control, has been positioned at the end of Capricorn where structures, leaders, powerful entities and the like are struggling to maintain their illusion of control. Often when such things dissolve they become louder first and it is likely that we haven’t heard the last of these crumbling enterprises. In our own lives we may find that during the time of this Lunar Eclipse, old patterns around control and power are also getting louder. Perhaps we have become aware of where we are giving our power away. It’s in this awareness that we learn to call back our power.
In my video I mention that clearing ceremonies are a good match for this Lunar Eclipse in Taurus. As the veil is thin and the energies are high, it is helpful to clear the energy around us and our homes at this time. I would consider waiting to do this until after Samhain, which ends Nov 1st. I offer another ceremonial cleansing suggestion in my download that will be available to all paid subscribers, below. I’ll be doing this with my daughter this weekend. My downloads also feature highlights from the reading, journal prompts, and a flower essence to help integrate the Taurus Full Moon energies. I provide a download to my paid subscribers with every New and Full Moon transmission.
